Lanitis Development

Lanitis Development Ltd, a member of the prestigious Lanitis Group of companies, was founded in 1990 to plan, design, develop and manage integrated resort projects. The primary project completed by Lanitis is Aphrodite Hills, the first integrated golf, leisure and real estate development in Cyprus. It comprises an 18-hole world-class golf course, a tennis academy, a health and beauty centre, a tourist village with shops and restaurants, detached houses and apartments and boasts the first Intercontinental Resort Hotel in Europe.

“When we started our quest for an IT solution we needed a specialized system that could handle the needs of the Aphrodite Hills development at its entirety. Putting in place the appropriate IT infrastructure, to enable our vision and growth of the company and to support our strategy was vital. NetU’s SunSystems solution was high on our list due to its flexibility and scalability, and its ability to help decision makers gain a broader perspective on the business, while simultaneously analyzing operational detail.” said Constantinos Hadjisavvas, Resort Financial Manager, Lanitis Development Ltd.

NetU proposed a modular yet integrated solution that could grow alongside with the company. The solution encompassed the Foundation, Accounting, Asset Register, Vision XL and Collect modules of SunSystems coupled with HRB Payroll and Human Resource Management system to cover the payroll needs of the company, and give the desired analytical capabilities. The Lanitis Development implementation took only 3 months. The solutions’ integrated business analytics provide visual representation of KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and delivery of management information, directly to the centralized system at the headquarters in Limassol. This provides a consistent and timely view of business performance to the stakeholders, who are controlling all the Business Units and subsidiaries, not only of Aphrodite Hills but also those of the entire group.
