The relationship between NetU and the Labor Department begun with the implementation of the Candidate Placement System which gave the ability to the department to match the unemployed to the positions that were available in the market, thereby becoming a valuable tool in the hands of the Government to control and reduce unemployment rates. The system’s success, as well as the Cyprus accession in the EU led to a new innovative project that involved the development by NetU of the Candidate Placement Internet System, which allows the public to perform searches on available positions, and employers to post available positions in the system through the Internet (
